The Parkkadi Pooram festival takes place during the Malayalam month of Makaram. Anjoor Parkkadi Bhagavathy Temple, situated approximately 4 km from Kunnamkulam, is devoted to Goddess Bhagavathi. The temple's yearly celebration occurs on the initial Sunday following Makara Chowa in the Makaram month.
