UAE residents from 6 countries including India can return to UAE after vaccination. Travellers will have to apply online through the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to get approval.

  1. Should hold a valid residence visa.
  2. Have received two doses of a UAE-approved vaccine. (Sinopharm, Oxford/AstraZeneca/Covishield, Pfizer/BioNTech, Sputnik V and Moderna)
  3. Should submit a negative PCR test result within 48 hours of the date of departure.
  4. Should apply for entry permission at https://smartservices.ica.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html#/registerArrivals
  5. Dubai residents should also apply for entry permit at https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Smart_OTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitServiceForm.aspx

A lab test will be conducted before they board the planes, and a PCR test will be done on arrival in the UAE. This will be followed by home quarantine.
